Wrap for Valerie

This is a wavy wrap for Valerie. for Valerie. Click here and here
for a full view of the front and the back. I used Austerman Fancy Mix, which is a lesson in taking it as it comes. It is like a Zauberball, one never knows which structure or color hue will be unwinding from the ball.

Based on Valerie's preference of the color fuscia, I am framing fuscia color sections in black to make them stand out and set the color mood.

The pattern is based on the Feather and Fan Organic Wrap by Jane Thornley. Instead of Jane's feather and fan stitch pattern, I use Jane's long stitches for creating waves by wrapping the yarn once, twice or three times around the needle and letting the YO drop in the next row. The ingenious increasing/decreasing pattern remains the same though.

Yarn - mainly the Austerman Fancy Mix

Front with reinforced neck line in black.
Closure with a pin or wrapping, nomen est omen!
Back shows framed fuscia color.
